Another Pivot, and SAP

Tetsuo is now up 24% from my last post about it. Fantastic! It just keeps getting better.

I’m still seeing some misses and some flats, though, and this is whole market analysis, so, I was hoping to get better results than that. To remedy that I finally rebuilt the SAP component to actually work and to actually impact winner selection. I should start seeing that in results starting Tuesday the 20th. I’ll want to do EXP next. Those surprise/expectations are gonna get me half the time until I do.

The loss limiter idea I discussed in my last post is a no go until tetsuo is rolling with about 25k. So maybe in 10 years.

It will, however, require a configuration run to realign features to symbols to keep it accurate here, soon. It requires at least a 10 day period of stability so, I want to wait until about the 25th or 26th at least, or even potentially Feb 1st to recalibrate after the holiday season as the quarter shifted since initial calibration, and regimes are certain to have started shifting by this point.

In terms of other pivots, my job ended. I saw it coming a year ago, but it wasn’t set in stone, so I watched it in slow motion, but, I’ll be glad when the rough patch is over — though I don’t appreciate the impact to my finances. Truthfully, I was eager to go due to false promises from leadership that destroyed trust and general integrity failures I was having to tolerate to keep the peace.

On the bright side, I’ll have plenty of rest-up time. The last, what, 5 years? 6 years? However long it’s been it’s been one long fucking grind the whole time. It’ll be nice to get some air, I just wish it wasn’t during winter. I have developed extreme cold intolerance so I won’t be exactly getting out much.

In terms of a potential move, that means it looks like I’m signing a new lease here and just gutting it out another year. I’m not happy to say that, as they are drastically raising the rent on me.

Still doing the gym membership.

Oh and I did in fact redo the website for Dark Horse Linux. It turned out well — better than the reskin for SILO GROUP.
